Growing Hope Globally
Growing Lasting Solutions to Hunger
Growing Hope Globally - Growing Lasting Solutions to Hunger
Growing Hope Globally is a Christian response to hunger linking the grassroots energy and commitment of rural communities in the U.S. with the capability and desire of smallholder farmers in developing countries to grow lasting solutions to hunger. We use the proceeds from crops raised and sold in the U.S. through local community fundraising endeavors called Growing Projects and individuals donors to fund agricultural development programs overseas. Together, we have served over 2.3 million people and helped them to grow lasting solutions to hunger.

Waterpoint system
The Outreach Program - Waterpoint system
The Outreach Program has an ongoing project to place water purification systems into Primary Schools in Tanzania. To date, we have supplied over 25,000 students with access to fresh water, and we are not stopping! Rotary clubs have an opportunity to sponsor a system and also be part of a service trip to Tanzania to help install the systems and do other important work.
This is in addition to the meal packaging project that The Outreach Program will be covering in one of the Breakout sessions.
Chisago Lakes Rotary
Rotary Peace Trail
Chisago Lakes Rotary - Rotary Peace Trail
In 2024 we were awarded a District Grant to construct a trail in our local Rotary Park, located in Chisago City. This trail now allows people to have access to School Lake, an amazing environmental and wildlife lake. In addition to the construction of this trail ( a $20,000 project) we decided to integrate Rotary's "Make Peace Visible" theme into the park. this winter and spring we will have students and adults throughout our community painting "Peace Poles" , to be installed in 2-3 places within the park and the new trail. These will be place in what we call Peace Gardens. Those Rotary Clubs, foundations, businesses or individuals that contributed $1000 or more to the project will have their name on a Peace Pole. The project will culminate this spring when we have a dedication of the Peace Gardens sometime in May.
