Unite for Water and "What's a National Heritage Area?"
This shared table offers you (personally) and your club ideas on how to achieve the multi-District "Unite for Water" project (btw, it doesn't have to be complicated), as well as information on "Operation Pollination" and a new Rotary effort called "Project SkyBridge" (for individuals as well as Clubs). Sharing the table will be a representative from the proposed North Woods and Waters of the St. Croix National Heritage Area — they want to work with Rotarians on a project and have a few ideas to share with you.

Veterans Empowered Inc, a Rochester MN nonprofit, will feature and display its three-volume set of PTSD books titled “Veterans in Crisis” written by Dr Steve Lansing and Colonel B. Wayne Quist. Due to the ongoing war with Russia, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and suicide are epidemic in Ukraine today. In February 2026 the Lviv Ukraine Rotary Club, Unbroken military hospital in Lviv, ministry of defense and Taras Shevchenko University in Kyiv each received book presentations and copies of “Veterans in Crisis” and requested 50,000 copies in the Ukrainian language be procured for Ukrainian soldiers and families. Disabled Ukrainian soldiers and medical professionals refer to the book as the “PTSD Bible.”

Rotary in Action: Local Fundraisers Making an Impact
Rotary in Action: Local Fundraisers Making an Impact
Across Rotary District 5960, clubs are bringing communities together through meaningful and engaging fundraisers. From food and tasting events to silent auctions, family activities, and service projects, these efforts support vital local and global causes.
Each event reflects Rotary’s commitment to service, partnership, and community impact—raising funds, building connections, and creating lasting change.
Conference Opportunity for Clubs
Local Rotary clubs attending the conference are invited to bring a flyer promoting an upcoming fundraiser to display on the shared vendor table. This is a great way to showcase your club’s work and connect with fellow Rotarians.
Please note: Space is limited. This table is designated for fundraiser promotions only. We are unable to accommodate banners, displays, or non-fundraiser materials.

The Outreach Program - Waterpoint system
The Outreach Program has an ongoing project to place water purification systems into Primary Schools in Tanzania. To date, we have supplied over 25,000 students with access to fresh water, and we are not stopping! Rotary clubs have an opportunity to sponsor a system and also be part of a service trip to Tanzania to help install the systems and do other important work.
This is in addition to the meal packaging project that The Outreach Program will be covering in one of the Breakout sessions.

Chisago Lakes Rotary - Rotary Peace Trail
In 2024 we were awarded a District Grant to construct a trail in our local Rotary Park, located in Chisago City. This trail now allows people to have access to School Lake, an amazing environmental and wildlife lake. In addition to the construction of this trail ( a $20,000 project) we decided to integrate Rotary's "Make Peace Visible" theme into the park. this winter and spring we will have students and adults throughout our community painting "Peace Poles" , to be installed in 2-3 places within the park and the new trail. These will be place in what we call Peace Gardens. Those Rotary Clubs, foundations, businesses or individuals that contributed $1000 or more to the project will have their name on a Peace Pole. The project will culminate this spring when we have a dedication of the Peace Gardens sometime in May.
